• Passing requirement: The overall score is composed of homework+problem session (weight 10%), midterm (weight 30%), and final exam (weight 60%). Passing requirement is 50% of the overall score.

• Lecture Notes: These are self-contained notes for the class including exercises.
• A text book is not necessary. But if you want to read further, I can recommend Dummit - Foote, Abstract Algebra. It will also be a good source for Math 201 and Math 202.
