- Passing requirement: Overall score is computed from homework (weight 10% ), quizzes (weight 10%), midterm (weight 30%), and final exam (weight 50%).
Passing requirement is 50% of the overall score.

- A text book is not necessary. The class notes are self-contained. If you would like to do some additional reading, the following book is one I can recommend, although it covers more topics than this course.
